Juvederm Products: The Vycross Range

The Juvederm Vycross range offers a smoother product, thanks to its make up of 10% high molecular weight HA with 90% low molecular weight HA, improving any swelling or bruising experienced post-treatment. The products boast longer lasting results than others, varying between 9 – 24 months, and are reversible using hyaluronidase if necessary.

Juvederm Volift

Volift is best used in treating deep wrinkles, filling in deep grooves, contouring the face, and restoring areas of volume loss. This has an approved longevity of up to 15 months, although anecdotal evidence suggests some patients see results up to 24 months. It is recommended by Allergan for use on frown lines, crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, vertical lip lines, marionette lines, lips, and cheeks.

Juvederm Volite

Volite is a thinner gel, best used for targeted hydration of an area. It delivers improved quality, elasticity, and smoothness of skin, and treats fine lines in a single treatment. Volite can be used effectively on the face, neck, hands, and décolletage, most commonly applied in multiple areas across the face for a hydrating treatment. Volite’s longevity is clinically proven for up to 9 months.

Juvederm Volbella

Volbella was designed for long lasting results treating medium skin depressions, and lip enhancement and contouring. It is well placed in the under eye area to treat the tear trough, as well as crow’s feet. Volbella is one of the the least elastic of the Vycross range, which fulfils the need for a product that gives smooth results when performing tear trough treatment. This Juvederm product has a longevity of up to 12 months.

Juvederm Voluma

Finally, Voluma is the perfect product to use when restoring volume, and can be placed to contour the face, injected into the deep dermis or periostea. As well as being indicated for the chin and cheek bone, Voluma is an effective product to use for non-surgical nose augmentation, as it is the most cohesive of the Vycross range. This product lasts for up to 24 months, though a touch-up is recommended 12 months after initial treatment to maintain results.

Juvederm Volux

Volux is the most recent addition to the Vycross range, and the thickest gel yet. This product is indicated for creating definition in the lower face, though many practitioners are also applying it to non-surgical rhinoplasty with incredible results. Volux is the longest-lasting filler ever, with a clinically proven longevity of 18-24 months.
