It is with great pleasure that we are able to introduce one of the UK’s laser industry leaders, Kevin Williams, who is at the cutting edge of laser aesthetics, to lead our laser training days. Kevin is the Chief Technical Officer at Wynyard Aesthetics Academy and has worked in the laser industry for over 30 years. He is one of the original inventors of laser hair removal, as well as numerous other technologies and procedures.

Kevin is regarded as one of the most experienced people in the UK when it comes to laser hair removal and has developed his own techniques for treating difficult indications, such as lighter hair types, so we are very pleased to offer the very highest standard of in-depth laser training courses and be forerunners in the advancement of non-surgical aesthetics training here at PHI College.

Laser Training Courses

Each programme has been written to meet the Health Education England (HEE) Guidelines and is mapped against the Quality Credit Framework (QCF); programmes are externally accredited by the CPD Accreditation Group and externally moderated by the City of London Dental School.

Level 4 Core Of Knowledge

Our accredited Level 4 IPL training, just like all of our courses, has been specifically designed, written, and delivered by industry qualified and highly experienced specialists. This is a hands-on, practical course. The course takes about 4 hours to complete and will be hosted at PHI College London. We ask that applicants possess a Level 3 Beauty Qualification or minimum Anatomy & Physiology Level 3, and ideally be fluent in the English Language. The course consists of a presentation, followed by an exam paper, your course progress is assessed, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Level 4 Carbon Peel Laser Training Course

This programme has been specifically designed to meet the needs of learners who are working with practical solutions for the use of carbon peels, the Level 4 carbon peel course incorporates the learning outcomes which enables learners to maximise the use of the treatment to enable them to develop knowledge, skill and confidence in the area of skin rejuvenation, and enhancement using the carbon peel treatment. This is a hands-on 7 hour long, practical course.

The entry requirements for this course are the Level 4 Laser Core of Knowledge (as above),
Level 3 Beauty Qualification or minimum Anatomy & Physiology Level 3, and ideally applicants should be fluent in the English Language. The course format is an introduction and presentation which is followed by an exam paper. This is an assessed course, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Level 4 – Hair Reduction Treatment using Laser and Intense Pulse Light (IPL)

This Level 4 hair reduction laser training course is designed to equip learners with the skills knowledge and understanding to undertake the safe removal of unwanted hair, using Laser and Intense Pulse Light. The course aims to build on your confidence and skill in the delivery of treatment within the clinic setting for optimum results for your clients. This is a hands-on, practical course that takes place over 7 hours at PHI College London.

The entry requirements for this course are a level 3 Beauty Qualification or minimum Anatomy & Physiology Level 3, to have completed the Core of Knowledge Level 4 and preferably be fluent in the English Language. The hair reduction course consists of a presentation, a demonstration, a hands-on practical session, and is followed by an exam paper. This course is assessed, and a certificate is issued upon successful completion.
